I spent a decent amount of time looking through Reddit before buying and compared quite a few brands. What made me go with this one was that people seemed to mention the same few things: the pearls are really good, the design is simple and practical, and the price is pretty reasonable. That was basically what I was looking for.
It arrived in about 12 days. My first impression was that the pearls actually are nice, pretty much in line with what I saw people saying on Reddit. The 18K gold chain does not feel especially thick, but it is easy to put on and take off.
I've been wearing this necklace a lot lately, and after trying it with the outfits I wear most often, it works pretty well with all of them.
I chose the 8mm Akoya pendant, and the luster of the pearl is fantastic—it shines like a little light bulb! You can really tell it’s a high-quality pearl; it’s almost perfectly round and has no visible blemishes. The 18ct gold pendant and chain are also well-crafted. Since this is for my personal use, I decided not to get the GUILD certificate.
The 8–9mm Akoya pearl is actually really nice. I just wish the chain were a little thicker.
I chose the 8 to 9 mm Akoya pearl, and the overall quality and craftsmanship of the pendant necklace are very good. It looks clean, polished, and well made in person. Honestly, it came out better than I expected. For the price, I think it is a really good deal. IMO, it is worth recommending if you are looking for a simple Akoya pearl necklace with a nice shine.
