1. Handle with Care
Pearls are naturally delicate. Avoid knocks, impact, and contact with hard surfaces. We recommend removing pearl jewelry before sports, workouts, or any hands-on activity.

2. Keep Away from Chemicals
Pearls are sensitive to chemicals found in perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, lotions, and household cleaners. These can dull the luster and may affect precious metals over time.

3. Clean Gently After Wear
After each wear, wipe pearls with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and moisture. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaning, and harsh chemicals.
For occasional deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a small drop of mild soap, rinse briefly, and dry immediately.

4. Store Separately
Store pearl jewelry in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box, away from other pieces to prevent scratching. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

5. Avoid Heat and Excess Humidity
High temperatures and humidity can affect pearls and may weaken settings or stringing over time. Do not store pearls in bathrooms, and avoid prolonged exposure to sweat or direct sun.

6. Inspect Periodically
Check clasps, settings, and strands regularly. If you notice looseness, fraying, or wear, have the piece serviced promptly to prevent loss.

7. Last On, First Off
Pearls should be the final touch after hair and makeup, and the first piece removed at the end of the day—helping minimize exposure to chemicals and friction.
